Teen Violence Abuse

Violence amongst youth

Youth Violence is the intentional use of physical force or power to threaten or harm others by young people ages 10-24. Youth violence can include fighting, bullying, threats with weapons, and gang-related violence. A young person can be involved with youth violence as a victim, offender, or witness.

Change from year to year, and from area to area. Parents might want to search online if they are moving their family into a new area to research the area so that they can see what the crime rate is like and which school would be safest for their child to attend. There are many government websites that post statistics of teenage violence each year, such as the Center for Disease Control and Prevention website. A few teenage violence statistics and facts are:

THE SUICIDE CRISIS

According to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), suicide is the tenth leading cause of death in the United States. It’s a brutal, sad truth. One that is hard to understand and, for those left behind, harder to accept. Recognizing that September is Suicide Prevention Month, let’s take a stand for those who are suffering by exploring this complex issue and ways we can help.

When each of them made the decision to join, they knew the sacrifices that lay ahead, the risks they might be asked to take, and the responsibilities one assumes when they put on the uniform. With state and local law enforcement combating human trafficking agencies in this heinous crime, we are challenged with the contrary to this belief. Law Enforcement, Military, First Responders and firefighter plays a key role in the fight against human trafficking.

Join our network of volunteers help us research and expose human right violations. "Host event to raise awareness, community groups, research projects, fellowship, avoid products & companies that facilitate human trafficking, and multitude way to participate!

Butterflies are not only beautiful, but also have mystery, symbolism and meaning and are a metaphor representing spiritual rebirth, transformation, change, hope and life. The magnificent, yet short life of the butterfly closely mirrors the process of spiritual transformation and serves to remind us that life is short.
